Agreement to Terms
By accessing and placing an order with Essence of Melanin, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms and conditions contained below. These terms apply to the entire website and any email or other type of communication between you and Essence of Melanin.
Intellectual Property
All designs, graphics, logos, and content on this website are the exclusive property of Essence of Melanin and 8x10designs. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our designs is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Product Information
We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display of colors or product details will be completely accurate. All products are subject to availability.
Orders and Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely.
Shipping and Delivery
Orders are processed and shipped within 3-7 business days. Delivery times vary based on location and shipping method selected. Essence of Melanin is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs processing.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not liable for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Returns and Exchanges
Custom Products: Due to the custom nature of our designs, all sales are final unless the product arrives damaged or defective.
Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective product, contact us at hello@essenceofmelanin.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Wrong Item: If you receive the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement.
Returns must be initiated through hello@essenceofmelanin.com. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and credited to the original payment method.
Limitation of Liability
Essence of Melanin and 8x10designs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.
Product Quality
While we maintain high standards for all products, variations in printing and manufacturing may occur. Minor variations in color, placement, or sizing do not constitute defects.
